The free plan is the whole product.
Not a trial, not a crippled tier. Ledgeur runs on your machine, so one person using it costs us nothing and we charge nothing. You pay when you want the record to leave your device — synced across a team, and readable by your agents.
Personal
Everything the product does on your own machine.
- Unlimited recording and transcription
- Speaker separation — who said what, automatically
- Name a voice once; it is recognised in every later meeting
- Drag in an existing recording and treat it like a live one
- Summary, decisions and action items
- Keep a thought in seconds: type it or say it, and it is sorted into a task or a note
- Spaces that hold a project's meetings, tasks and notes together
- Send an action item straight to Linear, Todoist or Asana
- Full-text search across your whole library
- Markdown export, and a copy of everything you can take with you
No account required. Nothing is uploaded — the models run in your browser, and your library lives on your device.
Team
Most teamsFor when the record has to outlive one laptop.
- Everything in Personal
- Sync your meetings and kept thoughts across your own devices
- A shared team library — meetings you choose to share, searchable by everyone
- Agent access: connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to your meetings over MCP
- Ask questions across everything the team has ever discussed
- Email support
14-day free trial. Cancel any time — your meetings stay on your device either way.
Enterprise
For organisations that need to run it themselves.
- Everything in Team
- Self-hosting, with help — Ledgeur is MIT-licensed, so this is always possible without us
- A deployment of Supabase and the sync layer inside your own network
- A support agreement and a named contact
- Input on the roadmap
A floor, not a quote: what it actually costs depends on how much of the deployment you want us to do. We will tell you plainly what we do and do not have before you spend a meeting finding out, and the whole list is published at /what-we-dont-have.
Three things, and nothing else.
Ledgeur’s costs scale with sync and hosting, not with your minutes. So that is what the paid plan covers.
Sync
Your meetings, encrypted in transit, in a Postgres database with row-level security that only ever returns your rows. Record on your laptop, read it on your phone.
A shared library
Mark a meeting as shared and everyone in your workspace can find it. The company stops re-deciding things it already decided.
Agent access
A Model Context Protocol endpoint your AI tools can read. Ask Claude what was agreed about pricing, and it goes and looks.
The list nobody else publishes.
Buying software on the strength of a feature grid that turns out to be a roadmap is a miserable experience. So here is what we do not have, in advance.
We have not been audited against either. If your procurement process requires a report, we cannot pass it today. What we can offer instead is the source code and a design in which the meeting audio never reaches us at all.
The app itself signs in with SAML, and the single sign-on button appears whenever a workspace has it configured, so an organisation running its own backend can use it now. It is not switched on for Ledgeur's own hosted backend, so in practice you cannot use it with us yet.
Not built at all. Adding and removing people is done by hand. If your security review requires automated deprovisioning, we are not the right fit yet, and we would rather say so now than during onboarding.
Not built. Workspace administration today is one owner and a member list. Access tokens record when they were last used, and that is the extent of the audit trail.
We do not sign business associate agreements. The on-device design means protected health information in a recording never reaches a server we run, which is a strong position, but it is not the same thing as a BAA and we will not let it be mistaken for one. If your compliance programme needs the paperwork, you need a vendor who signs it.
None has been commissioned. Nobody independent has tried to break this.
We will thank you properly and credit you for anything you report, but we cannot pay for it yet.
There is no Docker image and no Helm chart. Self-hosting is genuinely possible, because the source is MIT and the whole schema is in the repository, but it is a manual job today. Enterprise means we help you do it rather than handing you a one-line install.
The iOS and Android apps are the same code as the desktop app and sync with it under the same meeting ids, and both build to a store-ready, signed binary. Neither has a store listing yet, so today they are installed from source.
Two people editing the same meeting notes at the same moment will overwrite each other. Sync resolves by last writer, which is right for one person on two devices and wrong for two people on one document.
Action items go to Linear, Todoist, Asana, Notion, or any endpoint you point a signed webhook at. Jira, Monday and ClickUp are not built, and there is no two-way sync anywhere: a task closed in Linear does not close in Ledgeur.
This same list is on its own page, so you can send it to whoever runs your security review without sending them a pricing page.
Where the difference actually is.
| Ledgeur | A hosted notetaker | |
|---|---|---|
| Where the audio goes | Nowhere. Transcribed in your browser. | Uploaded to the vendor's servers. |
| Who joins the call | Nobody. It captures the tab's audio. | A bot appears in the participant list. |
| If the video platform tightens bot access | Nothing changes. There is no bot to admit. | The product stops working on that platform. |
| Minutes per month | Unlimited — it is your CPU. | Capped, then metered. |
| Cost for one person | Free, permanently. | Per seat, after a trial. |
| If the company disappears | MIT source, local files. It keeps working. | Export before the lights go out. |
| Reading your data with an agent | An MCP endpoint you point Claude at. | Whatever the vendor's integrations allow. |
The awkward questions.
What happens to my meetings if I cancel?
Nothing. They are on your device — that is where they were the whole time. Cancelling stops the sync and closes the agent endpoint; it does not take your library away, and there is no export deadline.
Is there really no minute limit on the free plan?
There is no limit we impose. The limit is your own machine: a long meeting takes longer to transcribe on a laptop without WebGPU. Nothing is metered, because nothing is running on our hardware.
Can I self-host instead of paying?
Yes, and you do not need our permission — it is MIT-licensed and the database schema is in the repository. Enterprise is us helping you do it and supporting it, not us granting a right you already have.
How do I cancel?
From your account page, which opens the Stripe billing portal. No email, no retention call.
Do you train models on my meetings?
No, and we could not: the audio and the transcript never reach us on the free plan, and on the paid plan they are your rows in a database behind row-level security. There is no training pipeline in this product.
Prices are in USD and exclude any local sales tax, which Stripe calculates at checkout. See the terms and privacy notice.
