- Q&A highlights
- Decisions and what changes
- A digest to post in Slack
A workable rhythm
How to handle all-hands meetings notes
- Before the call, agree which announcements must survive into the written recap and who can confirm the wording.
- During Q&A, keep the question with the answer. A neat answer without its question is usually useless to someone who missed the meeting.
- Publish a short, dated digest in the company channel, then link to the fuller record so people can check context without asking a presenter to repeat it.
- Keep confidential people, financial or customer material out of the broad recap; a whole-company audience is not the right permission model for every meeting note.
